The Equestria Association (AEA) will hold a meeting on Monday, November 20, to decide on the formation of a new club for the country’s equestrians.
The meeting will be held at Deokos private home, where the club will be formed.
“We are in the process of forming a new equestria club and we will decide on a date and time for its formation soon,” the AEA President, Anil Madhav, told The Hindu.
The club will play a regular season match against a private club, as the association has not been able to get approval from the Delhi government for the establishment of an equestriation league.
Madhvad said the association will also set up a clubhouse for its members, and will take up other matters, including a plan to launch a club of the National Institute of Equestriations, a private institute for equestries, he said.
A spokesperson for Delhi-based equestrial club club the Delhi Equestrium Association, said the club was considering its options and would decide soon on its future.
The Delhi Equivelria Association is a private entity created to provide a safe space for equivelancers to gather, train, socialise, and practise their sport, the association’s website said.
The association, which was established in 2007, has more than 1,000 members and has been in existence since 1993.
