A horse riding club in Georgia is closing its doors after an owner was fired for allegedly assaulting his wife and another man.
According to WSBTV, the Atlanta-based Equestrian Club of Georgia issued a statement Thursday that said the club was closing its door after the alleged incident took place in January.
According with the statement, the club owner was found to have engaged in physical violence against his wife, and she was unable to continue to work with him, the statement read.
The club also said it was aware of a number of other domestic violence incidents involving members.WSBTV said the alleged assault occurred after the club opened its doors in late January.
The owner has not been identified.
