The Horseman, a four-legged equestriaire from China, was awarded the title of “Greatest Horseman” of the world for the third time in his career.
The first was the 2010 Beijing Olympics, when he was runner-up.
Now, with a third gold medal in the men’s fours final on Saturday, he is in his third Olympics and fifth world championships.
He said: “I’m just a massive fan and it’s just a great honour to win and to win three times.”
He said he was thrilled to be recognised with the title.
“I feel honoured.
The horse is just a magnificent thing.
It’s just an honour to be able to wear the crown.”
He added: “It’s been an honour, but I’m a massive horseman.
I’m just very happy to be here.
It makes it even more special to win it.”
The Horseman has been the world’s favourite horse since he was born.
His parents, Fu Xiu and Liu Xiaoyu, raised the horse from birth in Beijing.
“It was very easy to raise him.
It was very quick,” Fu Xiwu said.
He added his family has also travelled to China.
“The horse was really easy to train and I just tried to make sure he had a good life and I’m very happy I did.”
He said the horse’s popularity had been boosted by a new breed of dog, the Zuoyu.
“I think people are becoming more aware of the Zuzu, because it has such a long life,” he said.
“In China, people used to have to pay a lot of money to have a Zuzus.
But now, they don’t need to.”
Fu Xiwus said he had never been to China and hoped his horse had helped the country become a better place.
“China is a very big country and I feel proud to have my horse here,” he told reporters.
“We have a lot to be proud of.
It is a big place, and it has a lot going for it.”
He also expressed his appreciation for the Chinese fans, who are the biggest part of the Horseman’s success.
“For the fans, I think they are very kind and generous.
I think there are lots of people here, especially from China.”
