It’s the derby at the SkyBet Championship, and the Derby have the home advantage and are the favourites to win.
Derby and Leeds United have met twice in the league, but this is Derby’s first game at the new Wembley Stadium.
This is their first game in the Premier League and there will be a lot of action from both sides.
The Derby have won just two of their past eight games and are just one point behind their Championship rivals.
If the Derby are to win, they’ll need to be better than their record.
The only thing they’ve done in the past few weeks is concede a few goals in a game.
The teams will be fighting to keep their advantage at the top of the table and keep the game level as the clock ticks down towards half-time.
Derby will need to find a way to beat Leeds United if they want to stay up.
Derby are unbeaten in the top flight this season and they’ve won all six games against the Championship sides in which they’ve played.
Derby’s recent form has also helped them to stay in the game for as long as they have, which is a very positive sign.
When the game started, Derby were favourites to beat the Rams, but they lost 3-1 at the Riverside Stadium.
A penalty goal by Harry Winks was enough to give Leeds United the lead.
The Rams levelled the score when Liam Bridcutt scored the winner, giving Derby a 3-2 advantage.
However, Derby could have doubled their advantage by putting the game away.
Leeds had a goal disallowed for a second yellow card in the 23rd minute, but Derby goalkeeper Tom Heaton saved well.
The second goal from Bridcutts second-half strike was enough for Derby to come back and take the lead when James Tavernier was fouled by Liam Bridgetts head.
After a penalty kick, Derby took the lead with the goal of the game, when Winks finished a wonderful move from the edge of the box.
Derby were level two minutes later when Tavernier made a wonderful run to score.
The ball was just inside the box and Winks made no mistake, slotting it into the bottom corner.
If Derby are able to find the equalizer, they will be the favourites for a place in the final of the Sky League.
If Leeds are to get a point, they are going to have to be a bit more clinical than they were at the weekend.
Leeds are a top-three team, so it’ll be a real test for them, but the Derby side is looking to get on top of things and hold on for a top spot.
Derby will be looking to build on their three points from last week.
A win against Leeds will put them one point clear of the relegation zone and it will also keep them level with the Championship leaders.
Derby have only won one of their last eight games in the competition and it’ll all come down to a win and a draw.
Leeds United have lost five of their six matches in the division and they have lost two of those.
They also have two draws.
The only victory Leeds have recorded against Derby in the first five games is a 2-1 win on Saturday.
As for Derby, they’ve just two points in five games this season.
The last time Derby played Leeds was back in April and they didn’t have a win, a draw or a defeat.
They haven’t won away from home since February 2011 and they’re looking to bounce back from a poor start.
They need to get points against Leeds United and it’s a huge test for Derby.
